About the event
This workshop will focus on growing fruit and vegetable plants. They will learn the lifecycle of plants, what plants need to grow and thrive, and how to start different kinds of seeds. We will touch on soil types, learn how to read a seed packet, and start some seeds that the kids will be able to take home with them.
We will also take a garden tasting tour and learn how to tell when different foods are ready to harvest.
