Where Do Bread, Crackers, & Desserts Come From? Kids' Workshop

This workshop will take place in the ranch kitchen. Please note, we do not have a commercial kitchen and no one regulates our kitchen. I do however have a food handler's permit and we will be using safe food handling practices. It's also important to note that I do not have the capacity to provide a safe space to make gluten free items for this class. If your child is gluten intolerant, this would be a class to skip.

The kids will get hands on experience in making a basic white bread loaf from start to finish. This will be a small bread loaf so we have time to cook all of them during the class.

We will also make cheese crackers, and chocolate chip cookie dough. The cookie dough will not be cooked in class, but the kids will get to take it home to bake. They will also get to take home a bag of their crackers, and of course, their loaf of bread.
